Frank Bonadio was dating Sinéad O'Connor in 2005. During their relationship, their son Yeshua, was born on 19 December 2006. The pair remained on good terms after separating in early 2007.

Frank Bonadio died on January 15, 2022, at his home in Towson, Maryland. He was 56 years old, at the time of his death.

Despite the difficulties and challenges they faced, Irish singer Sinead O’Connor and Frank Bonadio tried to deal with their relationship.

Issues with O'Connor's mental health and the backdrop of a previous marriage made it difficult for them to continue their relationship. Both O'Connor and Bonadio have openly discussed the difficulties they faced which one day led to the end of their relationship.

Sinéad O'Connor openly admitted to being a lesbian, in 2000 despite her previous marriages. She was married four times, first to John Reynolds in 1987, then to Nicholas Sommerlad in 2001, then to Steve Cooney in 2010, and finally to Barry Herridge in 2011.

In 2015, she had four children and welcomed her first grandchild.
