John Carl Dinklage is the father of Peter Dinklage, was born on October 24, 1931, in Morristown, Morris County, New Jersey, United States. His family was from Ireland and Germanyband he was an American citizen. He was the son of Ray Dinklage and Florence Dinklage. Her mother, Florence Dinklage, worked as a music teacher at a school. His childhood and education are largely unknown. He died on June 27, 2004, and was 72 years old. We don't know what caused the death.

Jonathan Dinklage is Peter Dinklage's older brother. Their family relocated to Mantoloking in 1949, where they lived for a while before moving once more to Brookside.
